Uzbekistan to introduce fine for absence of identification marks at taxis

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is planning to introduce fine for absence of identification marks at taxis in the legislative level.
Fraction of Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan discussed a draft law “On introduction of amendments to Code of Uzbekistan on administrative responsibility” in the first reading.
The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution number 139 on 18 May 2011, which approves single identification marks on external and internal information of taxis, the Milliy Tiklanish Party said.
In this connection, the draft law envisages introduction of changes to the Code of Uzbekistan on administrative responsibility, which stipulate measures against taxis, which have no single identification marks.
The draft law envisages to introduce changes to article 121 and 122 articles of the Code of administrative responsibility.
MPs of Milliy Tiklanish discussed the draft law and it was approved in the first reading.
