Japanese Ambassador expresses gratitude to Uzbek leadership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Japan to Tashkent Yosihisa Kuroda expressed his appreciation for condolences, directed by the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to the Prime Minister of Japan Naoto Kan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that Yosihisa Kuroda expressed his gratitude during the meeting with the representatives of the Ministry, who visited the Embassy.
Yosihisa Kuroda said that the Japanese side values timely reaction of the Uzbek side in difficult time for the Japanese people, including readiness to render necessary assistance in liquidation of disaster consequences.
At the end, Japanese envoy expressed his appreciation to the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
As earlier reported, the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov sent condolences to the Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan in connection with natural disaster.
