Russian citizens are among refugees in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian citizens are among refugees, who fled from southern Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan, the Russian Embassy in Tashkent said in a statement.
The statement said the Russian Embassy in Uzbekistan is following for developments of event in southern Kyrgyz Republic.
It added that the Russian Embassy has information that among large number of refugees, who arrives in Uzbekistan from Osh and Jalalabad regions of Kyrgyz Republic, are Russian citizens. Currently, the Russian citizens were placed in refugee camps.
Russian embassy directed a special working group led by head of consular department K. Shevchenko. The group will determine number of the Russian citizens in camps and their current needs.
