Pavel Durov detained at airport in Paris suburb

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Telegram founder Pavel Durov was detained at Le Bourget Airport, located in a suburb of Paris. French media reported the incident.

The detention occurred on Saturday evening on the airport tarmac as Durov disembarked from a private jet that had arrived from Azerbaijan.

According to reports, Durov, a French citizen, was on a list of wanted individuals compiled by French authorities. The request for his search was initiated by the French agency dealing with crimes against minors and was based on a preliminary investigation.

It is worth noting that Durov visited Uzbekistan in June.
