Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 February 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov e-met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Marcel de Vink.
The parties conducted a detailed review of bilateral relations in all areas of the mutual agenda and interaction within international structures.
An exchange of views took place on intensifying political and diplomatic relations, strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue, deepening cultural and humanitarian ties and increasing tourist exchanges.
Issues of promoting economic diplomacy took center stage at the negotiations. The Dutch side expressed interest in further expanding mutually beneficial trade and investment cooperation, in particular in the agro-industrial and agricultural sectors. An agreement was reached on organizing visits of Dutch trade missions to Uzbekistan, as well as Uzbekistan entrepreneurs to the Netherlands.
The sides also discussed certain aspects of the regional and international agenda.
