Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The government of Uzbekistan has adopted a resolution “On Measures for the Establishment of National Unity Parks,” which approves a comprehensive program for the creation of such parks from 2025 to 2030.

By 15 May 2025, a standard park layout project is to be developed and approved.

Several key aspects will be taken into account in the design and organization of these parks. Sixty percent of each park’s area will be planted with trees and shrubs. The parks will also feature various recreational zones, such as picnic areas, children’s sandboxes, small open-air libraries, spaces for visual and applied arts, and other elements that promote a peaceful atmosphere for visitors.

Special attention will be given to public oversight in tranquil zones to prevent damage to trees and shrubs, along with a review of irrigation systems to ensure proper care of the greenery.

In addition, the parks will include family-oriented cultural recreation zones, with facilities such as cycling paths, children’s rides, and other amenities that encourage active family leisure.
