Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the program of events in the city of Samarkand, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov visited the Hazrat Khizr Complex, where they honored the memory of the First President of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, flowers were laid, and verses from the Quran were read in a gesture of respect and reverence.
