Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Fariddin Nasriyev, held a meeting and business forum in Mazandaran Province with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, as well as local entrepreneurs, the Dunyo news agency reported.
Discussions focused on increasing trade turnover and attracting investments.
The Iranian side praised Uzbekistan’s business support measures, including the extension of the preferential period for customs duties.
Entrepreneurs from Mazandaran expressed interest in collaboration in agricultural technologies, particularly in rice and citrus cultivation.
An agreement was reached for a business delegation led by Ali Taghipour to visit Uzbekistan from 15 to 19 January.
