CEC invites CIS Executive Committee to observer presidential elections

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan invited Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to participate in observation over presidential elections.

According to the CEC, the commission directed an official invitation to the CIS Executive Committee.

The CIS observers are directed from the member states of the CIS in line with the official invitation of the government, holding the elections.

Earlier, the CEC also directed official invitations to the OSCE ODIHR, SCO, OIC and A-WEB to participate in observation of the presidential elections in Uzbekistan.

Elections of the President of Uzbekistan will be held on 4 December 2016.
