Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — IT Park Uzbekistan held negotiations with representatives of Bolt, one of the largest players in the mobility and delivery market. The meeting, which took place on 14 January, focused on exploring cooperation prospects and developing technologies in Uzbekistan.
Bolt, a European superapp with over 200 million users across 50 countries, is interested in entering the Central Asian market, particularly Uzbekistan. The company plans to collaborate with government agencies, including the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
IT Park proposed that Bolt consider hiring Uzbek IT specialists to develop and support software, as well as opening a back office in the country. IT Park is ready to assist in staff recruitment and provide necessary resources.
Yulia Malich, Head of Public Relations and Government Affairs at Bolt, emphasized the attractiveness of Uzbekistan due to its fast-growing population, large number of young professionals, and active development of digital technologies.
The parties also discussed holding joint educational workshops with Bolt experts to enhance the skills of local professionals.
A partnership with Bolt would open new opportunities for Uzbek startups, enhance their competitiveness, and strengthen the country’s technological ecosystem.
