Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Bahodir Begalov has been relieved of his position as Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of Uzbekistan.

Since May 2017, the 56-year-old Begalov had led the State Committee on Statistics, and in December 2022, he became the director of the newly reorganized Statistics Agency.

From 2012 to 2016, he served as Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics before being appointed Rector of the Tashkent Financial Institute.
