Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2024, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AGMK) produced goods worth 38.14 trillion soums, which is 16.1% higher than the forecasted figure.

In nominal terms, production volume increased by 20.5% compared to 2023, when it amounted to 31.66 trillion soums.

AGMK successfully exceeded the targets and forecasts for ore mining, copper raw material processing, cathode copper production, copper content in concentrate, polymetallic ore extraction and processing, and zinc content in zinc concentrate. However, specific production volumes were not disclosed.

In 2024, the company exported products worth US$610.8 million, exceeding forecasted values by 11.1%. The forecast of US$550 million was achieved in mid-November. However, exports have decreased compared to previous years, with US$947.5 million in 2022 and US$661.9 million in 2023.

By product, AGMK delivered 51,690 tons of copper products (132.6% of the forecast), 15,180 tons of lead concentrate (+21.5%), and 760 tons of molybdenum products (+9.3%). The company also met export targets for rhenium, cadmium, copper sulfate, and palladium powder.

AGMK continues its shipments to 19 countries, including new markets such as Guinea, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Morocco, and Portugal. In 2024, the company significantly expanded its export activities, including copper, zinc, molybdenum, rhenium, lead concentrate, cadmium, and palladium powder.

According to the Tax Committee, AGMK paid taxes to the budget amounting to 10.79 trillion soums in 2024, slightly more than in 2023.
