Khanka and Shavat districts of Khorezm region are selected as exemplary for the introduction of digital technologies
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to accelerate work in the regions in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the widespread introduction of the digital economy and electronic government" from 28 April 2020, the leadership and working group of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and communications visited Khorezm region.
Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sh. Sadikov and the Khokim of Khorezm region F. Ermanov discussed the implementation of digital technologies in the Khorezm region and the further development of the information and communication infrastructure.
During the discussion, Khanka and Shavat districts of Khorezm region were selected as exemplary for the introduction of digital technologies.
According to this, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, in cooperation with the relevant departments and organizations of the region, has developed a Roadmap for the implementation of digital technologies in the Khanka and Shavat regions.
The Roadmap reflects the issues of widespread introduction of digital technologies in agriculture and water management, education, healthcare, housing and communal services and other areas of the Khanka and Shavat districts in 2020 and in the first half of 2021.
The use of modern information and digital technologies in these areas will be the key to further economic development and the creation of comfortable conditions for the population of the region.
