70-year-old patient with coronavirus infection dies in Jizzakh
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Jizzakh region, a 70-year-old woman was quarantined on 20 June on suspicion of a coronavirus. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
On 23 June 2020, she was transferred to the intensive care unit of the Jizzakh regional infectious diseases hospital. She was diagnosed with coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, chronic bronchitis, chronic heart failure and osteochondrosis of the cervical spine.
It was noted that the patient over the past 10 years has been treated for coronary heart disease, angina pectoris and osteochondrosis of the cervical spine.
Until today, the woman has been under the supervision of doctors. Due to the fact that in recent days the patient’s condition worsened due to respiratory, heart and pulmonary failure, she was hospitalized in intensive care.
However, despite the efforts of doctors, the patient died of acute myocardial infarction, acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
Earlier, her husband also died with a coronavirus infection at the age of 72.
