UMS changes its name to Mobiuz
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 December, the Mobiuz trademark was presented in Tashkent, under which the mobile operator UMS will now operate.
As General Director of the company Sobir Aripov emphasized in his speech at the official launch of the brand, at the end of 2018, the country’s leadership set key tasks for the company in the development of the digital economy. They cover not only the traditional functions of a mobile operator, but also new areas of activity. A comprehensive analysis of the brand showed that the company needs transformation to implement a long-term operator development strategy.
“Mobiuz plans to become a completely new brand, the concept of which is based on care. He will strive to satisfy the widest possible set of needs of his audience. As a result, subscribers and customers will receive not only the expected services of mobile communications and the Internet, but also a host of integrated innovative products,” said Lola Filatova, commercial director of the operator.
The visual identity of the brand will be aligned accordingly. In particular, it combines the simplicity of forms with the creative aspirations of the company. The main color palette Mobiuz selected a harmonious combination of red and white. The logo contains two main elements - the name Mobiuz and the beam emanating from the letter “i”, which is expanding more and more. It has no boundaries and symbolizes progress, creation and limitless possibilities.
At the presentation, it was noted that the launch of the new brand was preceded by the debut advertising campaign “Light Up!”. Outdoor teasers were placed in cities and districts of the republic, on which people of various ages and professions were displayed in the beam prism. They are inspired, light up their work, hobbies, take care of loved ones. Each ray has a similar beam - this is the signal that aims to reveal the semantics of Mobiuz and symbolizes the values of the company. The second wave of the advertising campaign will more deeply reveal the essence of this message and become an image for the mobile operator.
Rebranding is not only a phased change in positioning and external attributes. It is directly interconnected with the processes of commercial and technical development of the company, its readiness to satisfy the demands of subscribers to the maximum. In this regard, the event provided information on current activities and development plans of the company.
In particular, the other day, the operator is launching a unique AutoMOBI promotion with the possibility of winning 14 Nexia-3 cars and the Malibu super prize. The mobile application Mobiuz will soon be presented to subscribers. In the future, the Mobile Wallet service will appear, as well as its own Mobiuz content platform with video and music.
“This year, the company launched the 4G LTE network in all regions of the country, the billing system is being modernized to improve the quality of services provided, and the external Internet channel is gradually expanding. The projects for the construction of a data processing center in the Jizzakh region, as well as direct access to the international Internet channel, are being prepared for implementation,” said Olga Filatova, the company’s technical director.
