Swiss “Le Temps” publishes article about a film on Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - An article dedicated to the film by the Japanese director K. Kurosawa, shot in Uzbekistan, was published in the next issue of one of the popular Swiss newspapers Le Temps.
The film is called "At World’s End", its heroine Yoko, the reporter of a popular show in Japan, travels around Tashkent, Samarkand, to Lake Aydarkul, where he meets local people, finds new friends and learns about unknown culture. Her dream is to find inner peace, the study of ancient civilizations.
The article notes that the work of the world famous author is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Japan and the 70th anniversary of the construction of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan.
Famous Uzbek and Japanese actors A. Maeda, T. Emoto, R. Kase and Adiz Razhabov starred in the film.
