Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the invitation of the Japanese government, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Senate Chairperson of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva, arrived in Japan to attend the ceremony marking the accession to the throne of the new Emperor of Japan Naruhito.
On 1 May 2019, the 59-year-old Crown Prince Naruhito was proclaimed as the 126th Emperor, and from that day began a new era of the Reiva reign (perfect harmony).
The main ceremonies dedicated to the inheritance of the imperial throne of Japan will be held on 22 October in Tokyo. The ceremony of intronization includes a court banquet on behalf of Emperor Naruhito and a state banquet on behalf of the Prime Minister of the country, S. Abe.
The events will be attended by presidents and heads of government from 194 countries of the world, as well as other senior officials.
On the first day of the visit on 21 October, meetings and conversations were held with the former Japanese Ambassador to Uzbekistan, the former member of the House of Councilors of the Japanese Parliament, the cavalier of the Dustlik Order K. Nakayama, as well as the Special Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the former Ambassador to Kazakhstan I. Kawabata .
At the meetings, an exchange of views took place regarding the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, and ways to further deepen and expand them.
