Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 October 2019, the Medical Forum “Opportunities and innovative solutions in healthcare” will be held in Tashkent in the DOME conference room at the International Hotel Tashkent venue.
About 15 leading companies from the Sverdlovsk region - the largest scientific and industrial center of Russia, will show at the forum unique developments in the production of medical equipment, drugs and supplies.
Medical institutions in the region will talk about new areas in the field of joint replacement, reproductive medical technology, reconstructive plastic surgery, treatment of cancer children, bone marrow transplantation and nursing of newborns weighing up to 1500 grams. In addition, the Ural present the possibilities of modern medical tourism for citizens of Uzbekistan.
In recent years, the Sverdlovsk Region has been seriously increasing the volume of high-tech medical care provided to residents of the region. Since 2013, this figure has grown by more than 60%. This was made possible thanks to the solid material and technical and technological base of medical institutions in the region and the high pace of financing the sector.
Today in Sverdlovsk region more than 50 enterprises produce a wide range of medical products for various fields, including karyology and neonatal medicine. Original effective antiviral drugs and antimicrobial coatings are being developed. The largest Nuclear Medicine Center is being created in the region to fight cancer.
The production and implementation of the Ural mining allows achieving significant results. So, one of the most important indicators - the level of infant mortality - in the Sverdlovsk region corresponds to the average European. And, for example, the Sverdlovsk Center for Oncology and Hematology is the only regional clinic in the Russian Federation in which all types of bone marrow transplantation are performed for children. The level of access to medical care is growing in the region, mobile forms of interaction between doctors and patients are developing.

Sverdlovsk region today is not only developing its own system of medical care, but also significantly increasing the export of medical services. Ural enterprises produce truly unique high-tech medical equipment - resuscitation, dental, cardiology, neonatal. Our region is ready to offer effective solutions that may be in demand in Uzbekistan. Another promising area for cooperation is the training of healthcare professionals,” the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, on the eve of the delegation’s visit, said.
