“On the first day of the tests there was not a single accident”, - State Testing Center

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A briefing was held at the Agency of Information and Mass Communications with the participation of the head of the CTC Barno Radjabov, where a report on the results of the first day of testing was presented.
On the first day, 71,340 applicants were supposed to take part in testing throughout the republic. However, in fact, the tests passed 68,736 applicants. 2,538 applicants failed the test for various reasons. The largest number of such cases in Tashkent is 734. The smallest is in Navoi region — 53.
13 applicants were suspended from the entrance exams at the entrance, 53 applicants were removed from the premises for violating the test rules.
2,622 inspectors (employees of educational institutions) were involved in the tests. Of these, 46 did not participate.
According to Barno Rajabov, all the tests were carried out in accordance with the plan and there were no accidents. Also, there were no reports of malfunction or disconnection of air conditioners, monitors, surveillance cameras or other equipment.
“Applicants who for some reason could not participate in testing are already contacting us. After analyzing the reasons, we submitted proposals to the State Admissions Office. If the admissions office gives permission, they will be able to pass exams on the following days. Nevertheless, it should be noted that there is no regulatory act preventing participation in the next testing of applicants who did not participate for certain reasons,” Rajabov said.
