TTPU opens a new direction of study - "Automotive Engineering"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to strengthen the policy of training highly qualified personnel in the automotive industry of Uzbekistan, from 25 to 28 July this year, representatives of Uzavtosanoat, headed by the Chairman of the Board, visited Turin Polytechnic University (Italy).
As part of this visit, a series of talks were held with the leadership of the university, during which issues of deepening cooperation between the Italian university and the Turin Polytechnic University in the city of Tashkent were discussed.
Following the talks, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed, under which the program will integrate the education, science and production processes of the industries, as well as the optimization of curricula. In particular, the issue of opening new areas of undergraduate and graduate programs in the direction of "Automotive Engineering" was resolved.
It is worth noting that the Turin Polytechnic University considers its branch in Tashkent as one of the competitive divisions of its network, worthy of attracting students from around the world. Currently, 47 professors from Italy teach at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TTPU).
