Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Moscow and Tashkent have agreed on the mutual recognition of diplomas, qualification documents and academic degrees, reports RIA Novosti. The signature of the relevant agreement was put by the head of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev and his colleague from Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov at the first meeting of the joint commission.
In addition, a document was signed on the opening of the exhibition and cultural center of Uzbekistan. It will be located on the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Center in the capital of the Russian Federation.
The heads of economic departments, Maxim Oreshkin and Botir Khodjaev, signed a memorandum of understanding on the exchange of experience in the field of increasing productivity.
The Russian and Uzbek authorities also approved an action plan aimed at strengthening cooperation in enhancing cooperation in the agricultural sector and a set of measures to implement a cooperation agreement in some other areas.
Ministries of health signed a plan of practical cooperation activities. It is designed for two years. The All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan also agreed on mutual understanding and cooperation.
