Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased the fine for operating vehicles with tinted windows without permission from 1 to 25 sizes of minimum wages.
The relevant amendments were made to the Administrative Responsibility Code in accordance with the law signed by the President on 23 May. The law came into force on 24 May.
According to the amendments, the fine for the operation of vehicles with tinted windows without a permit has increased from 1 to 25 minimum wages.
For the same offense committed again within a year after the application of an administrative penalty, the violator can face a fine of 40 sizes of the minimum wage. Now the size of the fine is 2 minimum wages.
From 1 August 2018, Uzbekistan allowed to operate cars with tinted windows. The cost of issuing permits and installation of tinting is 90 sizes of the minimum wage for individuals, 120 sizes of the minimum wage for legal entities. Legal entities of foreign countries have to pay 140 sizes of the minimum wage to get the permission.
