US professor to help revise curriculum of Uzbek schools

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Dr. Carly Womack-Wynne, professor of teacher education at the University of North Georgia (UNG), will help the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan to review curricula and national education standards.
Dr. Carly Womack-Wynne will begin her work in Uzbekistan from September. Within two months (including remotely), she will help assess and revise curricula and national education standards. In particular, she will share her experience in introducing STEAM disciplines into the curriculum.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Public Education, a professor from the United States became a consultant to the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan under the Fulbright Specialist Program. The program provides an opportunity to attract highly qualified specialists or scientists from the United States in order to exchange experience.
