Uzbekistan and South Korea to develop telemedicine

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and South Korea intend to implement a joint project on the development of telehealth “Digital Health Care”.
The project was presented to the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in during a visit to Inha University in Tashkent on 18 April.
The Digital Health Care project focuses on remote collaboration between Korean and Uzbek doctors in the form of an exchange of consultations and diagnosis.
During the visit of the President of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is planned to sign a memorandum on bilateral cooperation on digital health between the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This project is financed with the support of the Official Development Assistance program.
It is expected that the Tashkent Medical Academy, Inha University in Tashkent, Inha University Hospital and Hanjin Information Systems & Telecommunication Co., Ltd. and U-SHIN C & C Co., Ltd., and HeSel Co., Ltd. will take part in the project.
