Tatneft intends to expand its activities in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tatneft, a Russian oil company, intends to expand its activities in Uzbekistan. This was said in a statement of the company.
The company also plans to expand its operations in Kazakhstan and Iraq.
“During the current year, it is expected to receive an increase in reserves outside Tatarstan in the amount of 3.8 million tonnes of oil, as well as an increase in resources in the amount of 35.8 million tonnes,” the company said in a statement.
At the same time, the company did not clarify exactly which projects are being discussed.
At the end of November 2018, Tatneft reported that the company was negotiating with Uzbekneftegaz on the creation of a joint venture for joint development of fields in the Pritashkent district.
The company also discusses the launch of the production of chain drives at the Uzbekhimmash plant together with the Bugulma Mechanical Plant (owned by Tatneft).
