Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential resolution “On measures for further development and support of the livestock industry” was adopted.
According to the resolution, cattle farms and other agricultural enterprises will be allocated rainfed and grazing land plots in the reserve of district khokimiyats, with obligations to grow fodder crops and introduce drip and sprinkling irrigation systems. 38 thousand 49 hectares of land will be allocated for these purposes in the republic.
Producers of feed crops will be given subsidies in the amount of 100 thousand soums for drilling vertical irrigation wells on these lands for each meter of deepening.
Interest expenses on loans allocated to feed crop producers for the construction and reconstruction of drip and sprinkling irrigation systems and the purchase of their components at the expense of the State Fund for Supporting the Development of Business Activities for a period of up to 5 years in terms of value not exceeding 20 million soums per hectare, are covered in the amount of 50 percent of the established interest rate, but not more than 10 percentage points of the credit rate.
Land plots for the maintenance of livestock (farms), the establishment of equipment for energy sources and their further exploitation are allocated on an exceptional basis directly on the basis of the decisions of regional khokims. In other cases, allocated through auction bidding.
Citizens wishing to engage in animal husbandry, will be transferred to rainfed and pasture land plots for permanent or long-term rent of 0.5 hectares based on each conditional head of livestock.
The Ministry of Innovative Development will ensure the delivery of certified high-quality primary seeds of forage crops to farms.
State Enterprise OZNASLCHILIK; as an experiment, in 2019, farms of all categories of Kashkadarya, Tashkent and Khorezm regions will be provided with breeding services, including services for artificial insemination.
For the period until 1 January 2022, the following are exempted from the payment of customs duties:
- components and raw materials necessary for the introduction of drip and sprinkling irrigation technology;
-pigments and preparations for the production of pipes and hoses, PVC pipelines, drip irrigation tube, flexible pipelines, fittings and fittings;
- when imported into the territory of the republic of natural honey collected as a result of the beekeeping movement of bee families to the territory of a neighboring country.
At the same time, the exemption is applied in the part not exceeding 50 kilograms of natural honey imported to one bee family.
It is allowed for beekeeping subjects to move bee families to the territory of a neighboring country in the spring and summer season.
From 1 April 2019, export of one-day-old chicks is allowed.
