Administrative regulations for provision of public services for registration of child birth approved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan approved the Administrative Regulations for provision of state services for the registration of the birth of a child.
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the public service is provided through the Centers for Public Services by the civil registry offices located in the center building.
The state service is carried out at a personal appearance in the Center for Public Services, located at the place of birth of the child or the place of permanent residence of one of the parents, the employee of the center fills out the questionnaire in electronic form.
The following documents must be attached to the questionnaire: a medical certificate of birth, documents confirming the identity of the parents and a marriage certificate.
For the provision of public services, a stamp duty of 15 percent (now 30,409 soums) of the minimum wage is collected.
The following may be grounds for refusing to provide public services:
The employee of the center draws up the documents and within 2 hours is provided to the registry offices.
After receiving the documents, the civil registry offices will issue a birth certificate for the child within two working days and send it within 1 hour to the Public Services Center.
