Electronic journals and diaries to be introduced in schools of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan and Russia’s Dnevnik.ru will launch a project to introduce electronic journals and diaries in secondary schools. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan.
The initiative of the Russian company was approved by the Ministry of Public Education on the results of the selection of applications, submitted to the Ministry within the framework of the published on the official website www.uzedu.uz of August 6, 2018, invitations for cooperation of manufacturers of technologies, software and solutions for the widespread introduction of ICT in schools of the country .
The representative of "Dnevnik.ru" in Uzbekistan - the company KUNDALIK - will take part in the implementation of the project and will assume all costs for the implementation, maintenance and development of the system.
The KUNDALIK project envisages the introduction of a system for recording progress and attendance at schools in Uzbekistan. The initiative will be implemented in the framework of public-private partnership.
The KUNDALIK digital educational platform will be developed on the basis of the technological core of the information system “Dnevnik.ru”, which is currently implemented and adapted in schools in Russia.
The system allows online scheduling of lessons, formulating lesson plans for teachers, keep records of attendance and student achievement in electronic forms of the journal and diary, and also provides educational organizations and education authorities with tools for generating statistical reporting.
For students and their parents, KUNDALIK offers round-the-clock access to grades and homework, a protected social network for effective communication, as well as access to educational resources — an online library and media library.
Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan Sarvar Babakhodjaev noted: “One of the main goals of the Ministry of Public Education is to create comfortable conditions for the work of teachers. With the use of modern technology, we intend to significantly reduce paper reporting in schools and the associated burden on teachers. At the same time, we will create a tool for managing the educational process and creating objective reports on the attendance and progress of students. ”
General Director of Dnevnik.ru Gavriil Levy, said: “We are confident that KUNDALIK will be one of the important projects in the development of Uzbek-Russian relations. Our cooperation will contribute to development of education in Uzbekistan and the training of highly qualified specialists who will make a significant contribution to the future of their country. ”
