CNPC President Wang Yilin receives “Dustlik” Order

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- CNPC, a Chinese corporation, is one of the reliable partners of Uzbekneftegaz in implementation of investment projects for exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons, and the sale of gas.
Today, the parties are cooperating within the framework of an investment project on construction of the fourth Uzbekistan – China gas pipeline.
Awarding the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNPC, Chairman of PetroChina Company Wang Yilin with “Dustlik” (“Friendship”) Order in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 29, 2018 became an important step in further strengthening friendship and mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.
Within the framework of the visit of the delegation of JSC Uzbekneftegaz to the People’s Republic of China, an event was held to award the “Dustlik” Order to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNPC Corporation, the Chairman of PetroChina Company Wang Yilin.
The ceremony, held at CNPC head office in Beijing, was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China Bakhtiyor Saidov, Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Bakhrom Ashrafkhonov, members of the delegation and Chinese partners.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to China Bakhtiyor Saidov and the Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz Bakhrom Ashrafkhonov solemnly presented the Order to Wang Yilin.
At the ceremony, Wang Yilin, expressing sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for such a high assessment of contribution of the China National Petroleum Corporation to the development of Uzbekistan’s economy, emphasized that this award became a sign of great confidence in activity carried out in cooperation with CNPC and JSC Uzbekneftegaz.
During the visit, negotiations were held on the issues of further expanding cooperation in the oil and gas industry.
