Uzbek, Turkish Presidents consider bilateral relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 December 2017, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, telephone conversation between two Presidents was held at the initiative of the Turkish side.
During the conversation, the heads of states emphasized the importance of practical implementation of agreements reached on the results of the high-level visit to the Republic of Turkey in October 2017.
The need of continuing effective interaction in order to promote joint programs and projects of cooperation in trade-economic, technological, financial-investment, transport spheres, as well as in tourism and culture was underlined.
The Presidents exchanged views on the agenda of the extraordinary summit of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation in the city of Istanbul, as well as on other current issues of international and regional policy.
