Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev expressed hope that Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will agree 217 km of the bilateral borders by 1 December 2017.
Almazbek Atambayev reminded that the countries have already agreed 85% of the borders. He expressed the hope that by 1 December documents will be signed for the remaining 217 km. Atambaev added that the parties had already agreed 40 km of 217 km of borders.
The head of Kyrgyzstan said: “I think that in November we will be able to finish what is not completed." He said that Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan agreed to open several more checkpoints at the borders.
