Uzbekistan to open general consulate in Yekaterinburg

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will open its general consulate in Yekaterinburg (Primorsky Krai, Russia). Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the corresponding order.
The General consulate will be responsible for the territories of the Kurgan, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk regions, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District along with Primorsky Krai.
Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Government of Sverdlovsk region to allocate office and residential premises on terms of renting or purchasing to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
