Pilot center for social support to be launched in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A project ‘Returning PATH: Promoting Access To basic Human rights for vulnerable women and men” was launched in Uzbekistan.
The project is financed by the European Union and implemented by DVV International. It will be implemented within two years.
The project is directed at providing psychological and legal support, as well as assisting to train representatives of social vulnerable population via creation of pilot Center for social support in Tashkent.
The project will cover at least 1,200 vulnerable women and men, released from jails, drug-addicts, HIV and TB infected persons and others in Tashkent city and Tashkent region.
The center will be created on the base of NGO Intilish. The Center will employ eight persons and some 220 employees of various organizations will be attracted to its work.
