The system said that Agrobank joined the system in June 2011. It added that the bank started operation with Zolotaya Korona – Money Transfers with issue of remittances and later begin to accept outbound remittances. The bank also started to connect the system to all its branches.
Currently, Agrobank offers Zolotaya Korona – Money Transfers services through 152 points, where clients can receive or send remittance.
The system added that the bank plans to connect all its branches to Zolotaya Korona – Money Transfers (180 points) by the end of the first quarter of 2011.
Zolotaya Korona – Money Transfers said that in 2011 the volume of remittances from Uzbekistan grew twice, while number of remittances – three times.
