Zenit defeats Bunyodkor in warm-up match
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Saint Petersburg’s Zenit defeated Uzbekistan’s champions Bunyodkor in warm-up match on Sunday, 30 January 2010.
Both teams are in Dubai, the UAE, and are carrying out preparation to new season.
Rozina of Zenit scored the only goal in the match from penalty-kick, which was awarded for handling ball.
Overall, the Russian club dominated in the match, but players failed to convert created chances into goal.
This was the second match of Zenit with the Uzbek club. As earlier reported, Locomotive Tashkent played goalless draw with Russian club.
