On 29 March, speaking at the discussion of the Concept of Tax Reform in Tashkent, Khashimov underline that now there is a blockchain technology, which would allow to register interaction of taxpayers and the tax service.

"This technology does not require large expenditures for implementation - to create servers for example," he said. Blockchain could help in the storage of data.

Zafar Khashimov said that Uzbekistan could become the first country, which uses blockchain in the tax system.
