Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Yusuf Kabuljanov has been appointed as the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok, Russia.
According to the agency “Dunyo,” Yusuf Kabuljanov has met with the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Primorsky Krai, Yuri Melnikov, as well as with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Primorsky Krai.
During these meetings, current issues regarding bilateral cooperation in labor migration and the protection of the rights of Uzbek citizens temporarily residing in the Primorsky Krai were discussed.
Additionally, topics related to strengthening cooperation between the two countries and instances of rights violations of Uzbek citizens in Russia were reviewed.
The parties agreed to conduct explanatory and preventive measures in the investigative units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Primorsky Krai to prevent rights violations against Uzbek citizens and to hold regular meetings with Uzbek citizens to inform them of the latest changes in Russian migration legislation.
