Youth Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan gives concert in Kuwait

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The next performance of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan was successfully held in Kuwait, Dunyo news agency reported.

The concert was organized under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah. Along with the Kuwaiti public, the audience included officials, members of the ruling family, representatives of public, academic, cultural and humanitarian circles and the media of Kuwait, the diplomatic corps.

The Youth Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan performed works by the famous Kuwaiti composer Suleiman Al-Dikan, specially recorded for a documentary about the history of Kuwait, which was simultaneously shown on screens.

Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Youth Affairs Muhammad al-Jabari, who spoke at the opening of the concert, praised the organization of the joint Kuwait-Uzbek concert and the vibrant performances of the Uzbekistan Youth Symphony Orchestra under the guidance of the talented and famous conductor Kamoliddin Urinbayev.

The performances of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan caused a storm of applause from the audience.

Kamel Abduljalil, Secretary General of the National Council of Culture, Art and Literature of Kuwait, highly appreciating the virtuoso performances of the Youth Symphony Orchestra, emphasized his readiness to continue cooperation with Uzbekistan in the cultural and humanitarian sphere and to conduct joint cultural events. “The concert made a strong impression on the audience. They were captivated by the sound and skill of the members of the orchestra. The Kuwaiti public once again enjoyed the vivid performances of talented Uzbek young musicians, who again demonstrated the high level of development of culture and art in Uzbekistan,” he noted.

Abduljalil, expressing sincere gratitude to all members of the Uzbek orchestra, wished them further creative successes, and expressed confidence that they would again delight the Kuwaiti public with their new creative achievements.
