Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- "Youth Center" started its work in the city of Shirin. This Center was built by the Ministry of Energy and Thermal Power Plants JSC. Within the framework of the Youth Forum of Uzbekistan, its grand opening took place.

It was attended by responsible persons of the Ministry of Energy and JSC "Thermal Power Plants", the mayor of the Syrdarya region and the republican council of the trade union of workers in energy, oil and gas and geology of Uzbekistan.

- We are pleased that we are handing over to you, young people this center in Shirin - the city of power engineers. I am sure that it will always be full of ambitious and confident young people. We are glad that we also contributed to the realization of your dream, - says Bahadir Juraev, Chairman of the Board of Thermal Power Plants JSC.

The center includes coworking, an IT park, an Information Resource Center, a House of Culture, a Book café and an office of the regional branch of the Youth Agency. And this means that young people have a good opportunity to promote their ideas and initiatives, show their abilities, gain knowledge, exchange experiences through free communication, and hold discussions on various issues of concern to them.

- Frankly, we have long dreamed of a youth center in our town as this "Youth Center". When its construction began, we looked at the building and dreamed about our plans. Starting its work, each direction in the center is an opportunity for us. We will make every effort to effectively use this opportunity and further expand our knowledge, - says Khalida Alijanova, a 9th grade student of secondary school No. 4 of the city of Shirin.
