Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Tashkent hosted a solemn ceremony of welcoming boxers from the Asian Boxing Championship among youth, which was held in Kuwait on 1-8 August.

The Uzbek boxers won 10 gold medals, two silver and two bronze medals of the Asian Boxing Championship.

On 10 August, the championship participants arrived in Tashkent at night. At the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, a welcoming ceremony was held for athletes, which was attended by representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, the media and relatives of athletes.
