Along with the Uzbek players, tournament was attended by young football players from Russia and Ukraine.

In Group A, Bunyodkor youngsters defeated Krasnodar (Russia) with the score 3:0 and Rostov Football School with the score 2:1. In the last Group A match, Bunyodkor outplayed CSKA with the score 4:1.

In the final match, the Uzbek club faced Ukraine’s Shakhtar club. The match ended with a 2-2 draw. Ukrainian team claimed victory in penalty shootouts. Bunyodkor won a silver medal.
