Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Council for the award of the Stars of the Commonwealth Interstate Prize has announced the winners of the main humanitarian award of the CIS for 2022. The award is annually awarded to representatives of the Commonwealth states for the most significant achievements in the field of humanitarian activities, corresponding to the level of world achievements and contributing to the development of both each of the CIS member countries and the Commonwealth as a whole. This was reported by the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
This year, 16 nominees from 8 countries competed for the high award. By decision of the jury, which included prominent figures of culture and education from all CIS countries, the prizes were awarded to eight applicants.
The winners of the Commonwealth Stars Award in the nomination "For Outstanding Contribution to Culture and Art" are:
ALIYEVA Dinara Fuad gizi (Azerbaijan) - soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, People's Artist of Azerbaijan
KHACHATRYAN Harutyun Rubenovich (Armenia) - Chairman of the Union of Filmmakers of Armenia, People's Artist of Armenia
GROMOV Vladimir Valeryevich (Belarus) - soloist of the National Academic Bolshoi Theater of the Republic of Belarus, People's Artist of Belarus
ZHELTYRGUZOV Azamat Kairatovich (Kazakhstan) – soloist of Kazakhconcert, professor, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan
BOBKOV Yury Ivanovich (Kyrgyzstan) - director of the vocal and instrumental ensemble "Dosum Uson", author and host of the TV project "Yrdayly kyrgyz yrlaryn", People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan
SKRIPKA Sergei Ivanovich (Russia) – conductor, artistic director of the Russian State Symphony Orchestra of Cinematography, professor, People's Artist of Russia
SAGDIYEV Yodgar Habibovich (Uzbekistan) - Director of the Uzbek National Drama Theatre, People's Artist of Uzbekistan
In the nomination "For outstanding contribution and achievements in the field of science and education" the winner was
ODINAEV Saidmukhamad (Tajikistan) - Chief Researcher of the Institute of Physics and Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Academician
The solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates will be held in Bishkek on 11-15 September 2023 as part of the CIS Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia Forum.
