Children returned to Uzbekistan with bright impressions and new musical experience, as well as high results at the musical contests.

Students of Republican Specialized Musical Lyceum named after Uspensky Aziza Batirova, Severa Juraeva, Iskandar Mamadaliev, Shokhrukh Abduvorisov,Yunus Rajabiy, Islom Umurzakov, Rahmonali Yulchiboev, Javohir Minnagmatov and Utkirbek Mahkamov visited Italy.

On 7-8 May, they performed classic music at the school Giacchino Belli Roma in Rome. They also presented national compositions at the concert.

On 10 May, Perugia Saint Francesco Church hosted a concert of art workers, teachers and musicians. On 11 May, Iskandar Mamadaliev and Aziza Botirova participated at the competition of pianists “Pianofortissimo”. They performd classic European music.

Islam Umurzakov, Yunus Rdjabiy, Rahmonali Yulchibaev, Javohir Minnagmatov, Shokhruh Abduvorisov, Utki Mahkamov and Severa Juraeva participated in the contest in National Folk category.

Aziza Batirova and Iskandar Mamadaliev won grand-prix on individual performance. Uzbek musicians also won grand-prix for playing piano on four fingers. Meros group also received grand-prix for folk performances. All children received medals and cups of the winners.

During the visit, the delegation familiarized with sights of Italian cities.
