Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Yandex Uzbekistan has launched a free insurance program for couriers working with its Eats, Lavka, and Delivery services.

The insurance covers temporary disability resulting from injuries sustained while fulfilling orders for couriers using any form of transport (on foot, by car, bicycle, scooter, etc.).

The program is already available for Eats and Lavka services, and will soon be extended to Delivery as well.

The insurance coverage amounts to up to 100,000,000 soums, depending on the specific case.

To receive compensation, the courier must provide information to the insurance company.

Exclusions include cases of self-inflicted harm and situations related to alcohol or drug intoxication.
