Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 3 December, Yandex Uzbekistan announced the results of its "Generous November" initiative, aimed at supporting local charitable organizations: Dom Mamy, Teach for Uzbekistan, ONA, and Sharoit Plus.

Throughout November, users of Yandex Go services had the opportunity to contribute to the cause simply by using the platform on Fridays. For every 10 kilometers covered in Taxi or Delivery services, the company donated 50 soums. Additionally, for each food order exceeding 60,000 soums, Yandex added 500 soums to the total contribution.

At the conclusion of the campaign, Yandex Uzbekistan increased the accumulated amount, donating a total of 189 million soums to the participating organizations.

Arminé Ispiryan, Director of the ONA Foundation, emphasized the importance of public awareness: "Thanks to this initiative, we not only received crucial financial support but also raised awareness about the social challenges we aim to address."

Mukhabat Rakhimova, Chairperson of Sharoit Plus, expressed gratitude for the campaign’s inclusivity focus: "Each order brought us closer to creating an inclusive society where people with disabilities have equal opportunities to learn, work, and live fulfilling lives. Thank you for this support."

This marks the third year of the "Generous November" campaign in Uzbekistan. Beyond this initiative, Yandex Go supports charities by providing free rides and deliveries, benefiting over 250 individuals with more than 15,000 trips and deliveries since the program’s inception.

Dom Mamy – This branch of the International "Dom Mamy" Foundation works to prevent social orphanhood by supporting mothers in difficult circumstances. It operates three centers in two cities, offering comprehensive aid to mothers and their children.

Teach for Uzbekistan – A nonprofit dedicated to enhancing education in remote regions by recruiting talented graduates from prestigious universities to teach technical subjects. This initiative seeks to develop a leadership community while unlocking the potential of every child.

ONA Foundation – Focused on supporting women and children in need, ONA provides medical aid, legal assistance, and social adaptation services. Its projects include funding surgeries, aiding large families, and offering educational grants for young women, alongside improving hospital conditions and water access in remote areas.

Sharoit Plus – This association supports individuals with disabilities through training in modern professions, employment assistance, and inclusion projects. Their mission is to create a barrier-free society with equal opportunities for all.

Yandex Uzbekistan’s efforts underline its commitment to social responsibility, highlighting the potential for simple actions to drive meaningful change.
