Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 December 2018, Russia’s Yandex launched its Music service in Uzbekistan. Now users of Uzbekistan will be able to listen to tens of millions of tracks for free and evaluate playlists for all occasions.
In the application for iOS and Android, the users from Uzbekistan can listen to songs without the Internet and in high quality with a paid subscription.
The Yandex.Music catalog was replenished with music relevant for Uzbekistan especially for the launch, and the service interface was translated into Uzbek. The editors of Yandex.Music produced several playlists with popular Uzbek music: for example, “Uzbek music for a dance party”, “Beautiful Uzbek music”, “Eastern visualization” or “Uzbek positive”.
In addition to the music of Uzbek stars, the catalog contains many compositions of Russian and foreign performers: Imagine Dragons, Rompasso, Maruv, Justin Timberlake, Dua Lipa, Silver, Loboda, Sergey Lazarev, Basta, Yegor Creed, and many others, and appeared on the main page daily updated chart of tracks popular in Uzbekistan.
Yandex.Music helps people to constantly discover something new. On the service there are songs for any occupation. In addition, the service is able to pick up music in the mood. For example, you can turn on a playlist of relaxing songs or find an accompaniment for a run.
“Yandex.Music is a popular music service in Russia. We are chosen by more than 20 million users. We want as many people in Uzbekistan as possible to appreciate our advantages, and we expect to become as popular here as in Russia,”said Amir Biktimirov, head of international development Yandex.Music.
The users can subscribe to Yandex.Music in the Apple Store or Google Play. Its cost will be US$1.99 (about 16,500 soums) a month.
Yandex.Music is not the first Yandex service launched in Uzbekistan. Since 4 April 2018, Yandex.Taxi has been operating in the country, and on 15 November 2018, the Yandex.Mahalle service was launched.
