Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting today, residents and visitors of Zarafshan can use the Yandex Go service to order rides.

Users can choose the most suitable fare, and the process is completed in just a few steps.

To begin using the service, download the free Yandex Go app from the App Store or Google Play and complete a brief registration. To request a car, simply enter the desired address or point on the map — the system will automatically identify the nearest car, inform the user of the estimated arrival time, and specify the location where the vehicle will wait. The app also displays information about the driver, car, and arrival time.

Trips can be paid for either in cash or by using a bank card linked to the app.

The minimum fare is 2,000 soums. For example, a ride from the "Field of Wonders" grocery market to the Central Ore Management will cost approximately 4,000 soums.

Zarafshan is the 17th city in Uzbekistan where the Yandex Go service is available. It was previously launched in Tashkent, Namangan, Andijan, Fergana, Margilan, Kokand, Samarkand, Bukhara, Termez, Nukus, Karshi, Urgench, Khiva, Gulistan, Jizzakh, and Navoi. By the end of the year, the service is expected to launch in several other cities across the country.
