Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Now residents of Samarkand can use Yandex Eats, a service for ordering ready-made food from restaurants and groceries from stores with home and office delivery. You can place an order through the Yandex Eats app or in the corresponding section in Yandex Go. In March this year, the service was launched in Tashkent.

“The market of Uzbekistan remains one of the key markets for Yandex Go. We see a huge potential for development, so the launch of Yandex Eats in another city, the gastronomic center of Central Asia - Samarkand, was a logical step. A convenient and high-tech service helps partners and users make the delivery of food and products a simple and fast process,” says Natalia Loza, head of international development at Yandex Eats.

At the moment, more than 50 restaurants have already connected to Yandex Eats in Samarkand, including Oqtepa Lavash, Yaponamama, KFC, Wok & Street 77, Chopar Pizza and others.

The list of partners will be regularly updated, and with it, the variety of dishes and goods available for order will grow.

Own technologies of the service allow optimizing the usual mechanisms for working with partners. So, for each address, the list of available restaurants reflects establishments nearby. The platform distributes orders and builds optimal routes, taking into account the number of available couriers on the line. You can follow all stages in the application - it warns at what stage the order is now and where the courier is.

Orders are delivered by couriers from partner logistics services and restaurants’ own couriers. Part of the orders will be carried out by car, others by bicycles and mopeds, which will allow faster access to different areas.

The service has a 24/7 support service. If the user is unhappy with the order or wants to ask a question, he can contact the support through the application, and he will be helped to sort out the situation.

At the start, delivery of orders for the user will be free. Payment is possible with a bank card linked to an account in the application, or in cash upon receipt of the order.

The free Yandex Eats app is available for iOS and Android in Uzbek, English and Russian.
