Yandex Delivery to help shops and restaurants with express delivery

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Yandex Delivery has launched a business solution that will help shops and restaurants offer express delivery services to customers. Customers will be able to receive their orders at home or in the office immediately after purchase.

Online stores and restaurants in Uzbekistan will be able to quickly launch express delivery for their customers through cooperation with the Yandex Delivery service. Companies will be able to connect to the platform via API or manage their deliveries through the web office for business or the Yandex Go app, if there are few orders.

Delivery will be carried out by couriers on bicycles and mopeds, cars and trucks, as well as those working short distances on foot. Thus, with the help of Yandex Delivery, companies will be able to quickly deliver almost any product to a customer. For the delivery of ready-made meals and products, couriers use a thermal box.

Yandex Delivery technologies allow to quickly find a courier for an incoming order, build an optimal route for him, taking into account traffic jams in the city, and predict the time of arrival of the goods to the client as accurately as possible. The algorithm for grouping parcels on the same route can significantly reduce the cost of delivery.

“Technology has helped make launching express delivery – initially a complex and expensive logistics task – completely seamless for companies. Now everything: from providing transport to calculating the efficiency of delivery and quality control of customer service is a headache for a partner,” explains Manu Avgonov, head of Yandex Delivery in Uzbekistan. “The platform selects and assigns a courier to an order, sets the optimal order value depending on the travel distance and demand level, combines orders into one route when necessary, and also builds the best route to the client at the time of travel.”

The service informs the buyer about the delivery status throughout the order movement via SMS notifications or in the Yandex Go application, if it is installed by the recipient. Timely informing of the order status of all parties involved in the delivery reduces the load on the seller’s call center and increases customer loyalty by managing their expectations.

The service has been operating in Uzbekistan since 2020. Delivery can be used in Tashkent, Samarkand, Ferghana, Andijan, Namangan, Bukhara.
