Uzbekistan Judo Federation said that the Prague stage of World Cup attracted 392 judokas from 74 countries. Mirzohid Farmanov (66 kg) and Yahyo Imamov (81 kg) represented Uzbekistan at the event.
Mirzohid Farmanov lost to Korea’s Hong Kuk Hon, but his colleague claimed the gold medal of the stage.
Yahyo Imamov defeated Ahmet Sari from Turkey, Szabolcs Krizsan of Hungary, Joachim Bottieau of Belgium, and Tuvshinjargal Gan of Mongolia.
In semifinal bout, Imamov beat Levan Tsiklauri of Georgia with ippon and in the final he defeated another Georgian judoka Beka Gviniashvili.
